Recite, what has been revealed to you of the Book, and establish prayer; indeed, prayer prohibits immorality and wrongdoing, and the remembrance of Allah is greater; and Allah Knows that which you do. [Holy Quran 29:45]

............................................................................................................

[1] Intention & Takbir

Stand right. Say the intention to pray in your heart.
E.g for Zuhr prayer, intend in the heart:
أصلي فرض الظهر أربع ركعات اداء لله تعالى
I pray fardhu Zuhr 4 raka'at for Allah Ta'ala

Keep the intention. Then raise your hands & say:
الله اكبر
Allah Most Great

After this, you're now starting the first raka'at.

[2] Recitations

For the 1st raka'at, it's recommended to start with the Iftitah:

الله أكبر كبيرا والحمد لله كثيرا
وسبحان الله بكرة وأصيلا
وجهت وجهي للذي فطر السموات والأرض
حنيفا مسلما وما انا من المشركين
إن صلاتي ونسكي ومحياي ومماتي لله رب العالمين
لا شريك له وبذلك أمرت وأنا من المسلمين

Allah Most Great and all praises to Allah greatly
All glories to Allah in the mornings and the evenings
I turn my face towards He
who Created the heavens and the earth
inclining toward truth as those who submit
and I am not of those who are idolaters
[Q6:79]
Indeed my prayers, my sacrifices, my life and my death
are for Allah Lord of the worlds
No partner has He, and this I have been commanded
and I am among those who submit
[Q6:162-163]

Recite Surah Al-Fatihah. This surah is read for every raka'at.

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious the Most Merciful
(All) the praises for Allah, Lord of the worlds
The Most Gracious the Most Merciful
Sovereign of the Day of Judgment
It is You we worship and it is You we ask for help
Guide us to Siratul Mustaqim (straight path)
The path of whom You have bestowed favor upon them,
not the ones who incurred Your anger upon them, and not the astray

After reciting surah Al-Fatihah, it is recommended to recite another surah

From Mecca to Jerusalem | Journey Of Mankind

الحمد لله the month of Rejab is here. It's the month of Isra Mi'raj. [Q17:1 | QA] Isra is Prophet Muhammad's miracle night journey from Mecca to Jerusalem. & Mi'raj is his accession from Jerusalem to the heavens. All in one night.
PONDER : is it his vision (الرؤيا) which traveled at light speed
الرؤيا التي أريناك the vision which We showed you [Q17:60]
It was during the Isra Mi'raj that Allah's SWT commanded the 5 daily prayers [QA]. Since then, muslims started praying daily, facing Jerusalem. Yes, muslims started praying facing the Temple Mount.

The 5 daily prayers were commanded during Isra Mi'raj | Yom | advert

After the Isra Mi'raj, people from Yathrib who came to Mecca believed him, and spread the message in Yathrib. At that time, there were Jewish tribes living there — e.g. Bani Qainuqa', Bani Qurayzhah, Bani Nadhir — they were waiting for the Promised Messiah after the destruction of the Jerusalem Temple. [Q17:2-7] So, how did they regard the Isra Mi'raj and muslims praying facing the Temple Mount?
In Islam, before Prophet Jacob (Israel) [QA | Q19:58] passed away, he reminded his children, the Israelite, to "not die except while you are muslims" فلا تموتن إلا وأنتم مسلمون [Q2:131-133]. The faith in One Allah (Eloheinu eḥad) is the Shema Yisrael שמע ישראל ה' אלהינו ה' אחד passed down from parent to child.

"Muslim" means surrendering in peace to the One Allah (שלם, سلم)
לבבכם שלם let your heart be completely devoted [1 Kings 8:57-61]
Still, Prophet Muhammad's own people, the Meccan disregarded Isra Mi'raj. But Abu Bakr (RA) stood believing him. Abu Bakr was Prophet Muhammad's dearest friend, so close he accompanied him during their migration to Yathrib. When they arrived in Yathrib, the people embraced the leadership of Prophet Muhammad & Yathrib became a new state — Medina (מדינה). It is from Medina, Islam started shining.

Once, in Medina

The Prophet delivered a sermon and said, "Allah gave a choice to one of (His) slaves either to choose this world or what is with Him in the Hereafter. He chose the latter." Abu Bakr wept.

I said to myself, "Why is this Sheikh weeping, if Allah gave choice to one (of His) slaves either to choose this world or what is with Him in the Here after and he chose the latter?"

And that slave was Allah's Messenger himself. Abu Bakr knew more than us.

The Prophet said, "O Abu Bakr! Don't weep. The Prophet added: Abu Bakr has favored me much with his property and company. If I were to take a Khalil from mankind I would certainly have taken Abu Bakr, but the Islamic brotherhood and friendship is sufficient. Close all the gates in the mosque except that of Abu Bakr."

Sahih Bukhari, Vol. 1, Book 8, Hadith 455

It was Abu Bakr who realized Prophet Muhammad's parting was near. Then after Abu Bakr himself passed away, he rests next to Prophet Muhammad. And after that, Umar Al Khattab rests next to them. Their tomb is in the Prophet's Mosque in Medina, near the Baqi graveyard where other companions rests as well. | map

Then for Uthman bin Affan, his resting place makes me wonder whether it is true, that the Muslim graveyard was united with the Jewish graveyard, at the Baqi. (T - T) 🤍 Hashemite—Najjar

The Prophet's Mosque in Medina and The Ibrahimi Mosque in Hebron
The burial place of the prophets as well as their beloved companions

Muslim wish peace for both prophets & their companions in our daily prayers

O Allah, grant peace to Muhammad and his family
like You grant peace to Abraham and his family

Allah gave a choice to (His) slave - either this world or what is with Him, he chose what is with Allah

Yeah. Lois isn't a pampered celebrity. She might even have enemies ready to kill her. In reality, the Community to Protect Journalists (CPJ) reported so far 814 journalists have been killed since 1992.

So. Will we also remember them?

To me, they're precious even if they're not pampered celebrities. They help me see that good deeds is the best foundation for hope. وأقرضوا الله قرضا حسنا and loaned Allah SWT a beautiful loan. [Holy Quran 57:18]

So relieved, or be relieved. The believing servant finds relief from the troubles of the world, and in the death of a wicked person, the people, towns, trees and animals find rellef. [Sahih Muslim, Book 4 Hadith 2075]

And worship your Lord until there comes to you
the certainty (death).
[Holy Quran 15:99]

Peace for what you patiently endured,
and excellent is the final home.
[Holy Quran 13:24]

Superstars

Zara Salim Davidson is a chemical engineer by training
Here she visited the pediatric ward to distribute Eid goodies

Recently, I read about an excellent student on the newspaper. I think she won the university award. More so, she is beautiful. & she hijab! (◠v◠)/ Still, funny even with the achievements, she has yet to reach the full page coverage of the super beauties.

Yeah, she didn't win a beauty pageant. She's a self declared bookworm, though. If that is interesting. [Q96:1-5] Still, at least her spot was colored.

So. Honestly. I wonder when will the likes of her ever be the media darling. Yes, we Malaysians do have her type. But sadly, obscured? E.g.: only after Zara Salim Davidson's wedding did I know she existed. Ohh, if I had known her will I score As in my chemistry back then? & how ever did she weds, aren't educated women intimidating? (◠-◠)'

I hope society want more diversity for the people covered by the media. Dr Zeti Akhtar, how did she earn the trust to be the first woman central bank governor - a woman handling the financial crisis. Dr Jemilah, how did she establish Mercy Malaysia and survive being shot in Baghdad. That is something!

These are women professionals whose experiences are valuable for society. There's things we can learn from them, open our minds. That life is bigger & more diverse out there. [Q3:191] If looks are a commercial factor, there are women like Dr Amy Mainzer. These ladies exist.

Princess Lalla Salma of Morocco also studied engineering
& now leads the Lalla Salma Association Against Cancer

Anyway. So thank God, if there are spots in the media for them. (◠v◠)/

Welcome
Peace be upon you
