After Merdeka, the economic plan is to restore the people who have for centuries been under the colonial fist. The early Merdeka generation was trained in various fields as to spread out the socio economy. So after the first generation, indeed, the children are better off compared to the grandparents who survived wars.
But even though better off through their parents, these children do not have the same paths now - as the parents did - bcoz the situation in the present has changed. Now there are sentiments that the economic plan was biased, which feeds negativities. Look at how the language is deemed "inferior", the schools are deemed "inferior", the graduates are deemed of "no quality" etc. This is related to these sentiments.
So rather than cherished as valuable assets for the country like their parents - the hope of the nation - their path are now vague. They are told their achievements are only due to "handouts", that they are never good "inilah bodoh, pemalas, pengemis" etc - which impairs the reputation they need to build.
Of course there are those who are in the circles of wealth, which makes their path smooth. They have the relations and resources, which the rest simply do not have. Certainly, it is these people who have the greater responsibility in nation building - as they have been bestowed from the khazanah. In every fairness, it is these rich elite that should give back to nation building - e.g. sponsoring infrastructures, scholarships, become angel investors etc.
Truly, what the nation need is pathways for the people to become successful. And the moral compass of being in service, in which NOBILITY IS SUCCESS. A NATION WHERE EACH CITIZENS PRIDES IN GIVING - FOR THE DREAM FORWARD. #NOMOREVIPS

The court yesterday heard that the 1MDB management was duped to disburse almost USD$600 million to a fake company called Aabar Investments PJS Ltd (Aabar BVI) in 2012 for the development of TRX business district.
It was duped due to the similarity of the name of the actual company Aabar Investment PJS (without the limited), which was a subsidiary of IPIC (International Petroleum Investment Co). Aabar BVI was in fact a company incorporated by Jho Low and his associates in British Virgin Islands (BVI).
