The World Food Programme is part of the United Nations, and the world's largest humanitarian agency fighting hunger. From emergency response to nutrition etc, it's funded entirely by donations from around the world. Locally in Malaysia, we also have soup kitchens, among them is Pertiwi 🤍 الحمد لله

And they give food out of love for Him to the poor and the orphan and the captive, (saying) "We only feed you for Allah's sake, we desire from you neither reward nor thanks." [Q76:8-9]
Those who spend their wealth for increase in self-purification. And have in their minds no favour from anyone for which a reward is expected in return. But only the desire to seek for the countenance of their Lord Most High. [Q92:18-20]
Charities is only to please Allah SWT. & He is the Best to give rewards. ♥
Never humans, we may not respond & might even forget it.
& they never win awards etc to be seen as role models. Maybe they're even looked down on. But this is success. Even the rich can do this.
It's the striving (saie).
Like how Hajar running 7 times in the barren desert to feed Ishmael - this became the emblem of faith. & this maid servant is the mother of the leaders & caliphs, from the Quraish, Umayyad to Abbasid. She is successful. ♥ الحمد لله

For the migrants who is in need of humanitarian protections - record their identities and situation. Talk to their country of origin as to how we can proceed. If they can return safely, that is good.
If not, train them into workers that contribute to our country's own benefit. In plantations, constructions, many sectors that require work force. Educate their children. The goal is for them to benefit our country. As well as train them, so they can go back home to rebuild their own country.
Our foreign intervention, is to train their people to become valuable citizens
