Civilizations since 4000 BC | Timeline
道袍 China is among the earliest civilizations |
Then Assyria, Babylon, Persia rose in the East while Macedon, Greece, Rome rose in the West. When the New Millenium dawned, Persia met Rome side by side.
Then after the 7th century, a new empire — the Muslim — spread from Arabia. It reached the Farthest West (Spain) and Farthest East (China). From Andalus, it reached Western Europe after the fall of Western Rome. While the Khans spread it across Eastern Europe and Asia after they embraced it.
The Golden Age of Islam spread worldwide. الحمد لله
Then after the European Renaissance and Age of Discovery, Spain reached the Americas and Philippines. By the 20th century, the Europeans colonized nations worldwide. That's how nations adopted European culture, besides their own. That's how Djibouti speaks French.
Then countries gained independence. So the world becomes what we are today. Some trying to re-embrace our own roots, hoping we don't look strange among the Westernized.
OK fine, think of us as "Westernized" ↓ (~ v ~)v .:❄️:. Nativitized
