Still... OK there's the body. But what makes it alive? Is it the energy inside the body — which moves atoms — bonding and breaking it? These reactions build new cells for growth and repair, as well as defend the body from viruses, environment. ماشاء الله

الذين آمنوا وتطمئن قلوبهم بذكر الله ألا بذكر الله تطمئن القلوب
الذين آمنوا وعملوا الصالحات طوبى لهم وحسن مآب
Those who have believed and whose hearts are assured by the remembrance of Allah. Unquestionably, by the remembrance of Allah hearts are assured. Those who have believed and done righteous deeds - a good state is theirs and a good return. [Holy Quran 13:28-29].
So I wonder how this works. Well... does the brain send electrical signals to the heart? [nervous system] As in what you see or hear or think goes to the brain, & then the brain sends certain energy signals to your heart making it beat faster or calmer? So this means, the state of mind affects the heart, isn't it? ♥ والله أعلم
A good reason to remember Allah SWT & have good thoughts. ❀ ماشاء الله
In a way, is this how prayers (resting the mind, prostrations) calms the heart?
Does blood flow increase in the frontal lobes during prostrations?
I read the frontal lobes is important for controlling thoughts, reasoning & behaviors | ref
