In 2017, Sharifah Asma was reportedly attached with the World Health Organisation (WHO), pursuing a Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development certification (a professional British certification for Human Resource personnel), and running the Boost Juice Bar in Cyberjaya .:❀:. يا أهل بيت وإن الله لا يضيع أهله
"It was a bit of a relief that I get to make myself busy. So in the morning I will send Abdul Rahman to his nursery. Then I will go to work and I would have to be very busy because I would do everything on my own. It's a good thing because it takes a lot of my mind away, and I don't think as much about what's happening to me. And it's a good sense to keep me going and keep moving. So I guess it's a blessing in disguise" — Sharifah Asma
Speaking to Bernama recently, she said it had been two years since the incident and realized the need to reclaim her life for her own future and that of her son, Abderrahman, who will turn three this October.
“I am pretty much settled now. I have a full time job in the Human Resource Department of an United Nations office and also busy with my Boost Juice franchise business, both in Cyberjaya. “There’s so much to do, like preparing invoices for my business. I do think about my husband, but I have to move on with my life. Let bygones be bygones." “Whatever brings me down, I put it away. I cannot afford to be down for the sake of my son, in-laws and everyone. I want to be strong so that people can see I have moved on,” said the 31-year-old woman.
Looking at Abderrahman, who was watching cartoons on an Ipad, Sharifah Asma said: “He is my life and he keeps me pretty busy as he is growing up fast, and learning and exploring new things”.
