Children of Adam & Eve

Posted By Snow at 12/15/2009

Sold at Bin Dawood. If I'm not mistaken, made in China (◠v◠)

The people I met in Mecca ...

If I were friendly, hajj would be more fantastic. Get to know my brother & sisters of all races. وجعلناكم شعوبا وقبائل لتعارفوا [Q49:13] I think if I were friendly, maybe we could take photos with people of all colors. واختلاف ألسنتكم وألوانكم [Q30:22] Still, at least I've conversed with some. The granny that blow kissed me - she has an Arab, Turkish look. A Pakistani auntie - understand no ... nehe (नहीं). An arab girl smiled as I said "shukran (شكرا)". The cashier counter guy said "Malaziya? (الماليزية)". Nod nod. "Saudi?" I should've said that, it could be funny. But I only had that idea afterwards. Ahahah ...

Language-wise, some pilgrims speak their own tongue as if I can even understand it.

Anyway, some Saudi shopkeepers actually speak Malay. الحمد لله (◠v◠)

All & all, seeing all races created by Allah SWT ... ماشاء الله If anybody is still proposing beauty as a measure - I think my idea of handsome is now raised pretty high. As fate would have it, I saw a very handsome man sitting next to my bag at Safa. & that's why good deeds best defines a human, coz not all guys could look like him. نضرة و سرورا [Q76:11] سبحان الله

I did wish to ask, did the old man sleeping on cardboard has a great story to tell of his journey.

I LOVE THAT GRANNY! \(^v^)/ ♥♥♥

And... Is it true Jeddah means "grandmother"? Is it true it's where Eve is? Wow. Anyway, the tragedy in Jeddah was somewhat during wuquf, is it true? I did buy ArabNews to read what's going on with the flood.

Innalillah.

...............

Yeah for some reason, I enjoy seeing the old pilgrims. An old man was looking around at the shops - bread, stuffs. Was he thinking of gifts to get back home. I wonder if he has money.

Another old man gave me such a twinkly eyes & nice smile - I'm so grateful! Even with the scruffiness, that's the best smile I remember. Besides that granny's of course. (^v^)

The young? The workers at my hotel greets me. One caterer guy, he even knows my departure flight "So you're leaving tonight?" Ummm... TQ for knowing! (^v^) He even knows my family members, "aren't you taking meals for them". Ummm... TQ. الحمد لله (^v^)

I think I wish I have a smiley happy face, coz meeting people is very nice. I truly enjoy it, if only I weren't self conscious. Amen. Actually, by Allah & He Knows Best - I was "forced" to greet perfect strangers, so many of them. Some smiled, some are shy etc, just don't take it personally Nisa. I truly enjoy it.

The most shy, I remember is the old man who injured his leg. I was pointing at his wound - a big red one - but he just lowered his head. So, being me & easily feeling unwanted, I left him.

I think I should've called the guards for medical attention. (^-^)

There's another granny who was saying something to me. I didn't understand it. But afterwards, I worry of she needs medical help. I went back & الحمد لله there are others with her. I felt so useless I cried.

I wanted to buy that scale model of Masjidil Haram... but.. I didn't. (>-<) Ha ha I dunno. I'm somewhat like, I love something I see but I dunno. If it haunts me afterwards maybe that is really something I should buy.

Just like that old man? Ha ha (^v^)

Worse coz I actually took photos (~p~)'

Oh! I remember a handsome arab, algerian looking guy who was very nice. I think I was going down the escalator. & he was like a waiter "pls, ladies first" with that hand gesture ha ha... I feel so respected, now I feel like I'm his mom. (◠v◠)v

The other guy I met was at the Jamrat. He taught me to stone with more force. He's like, showing it by example.. coz you know, the language barrier. I know mine was like a debris rather than an asteroid... (~p~)

Hmmm & I kinda wish I see young Turkish ladies pilgrims, coz isn't it interesting to see a blonde muslima. I did meet one very beautiful woman after saie, she wanted to borrow the scissors to cut her hair.

Seriously, I think there were handsome & beautiful people, the beauty magazines promoting the most beautiful should just shut up. LOL. (◠v◠)v
