I dream of watching the Milky Way الحمد لله
I had the most wonderful dream last night. In my dream, I was someone good, beautiful & special. Mostly, I feel I'm the good, valuable person that I had wished so much to become since I was a child. Child me had prayed to Allah SWT: "Dear Allah SWT, when I grow up I want to always be a good person. I want to be sinless, isn't it easy I'll just not do whatever You forbids me." ☆ حدود limit

But, when she grew up ...

She becomes the GRAND SHAME she never wanted to be. And so, I reserve myself in my sanctuary where I wouldn't be the MONSTER to the world. أوى الفتية إلى الكهف [Q8:10-11] Though, I still think of how nice it would be if things were as I wish for. So, I want to thank Allah (SWT) for that dream. الحمد لله

For once in my life, I feel I'm loved and belong. & I wish my final sleep promise me that.
فاطر السماوات والأرض أنت وليي في الدنيا والآخرة توفّني مسلمًا وألحقني بالصالحين [Q12:101]

Rip Currents

A rip current pushes a swimmer farther into the sea
To escape the current, swim parallel to the beach
DO NOT SWIM AGAINST IT
I've never experience this. But I read a drowning incident today, where 2 brothers drowned at a popular beach. They were young men, only 23 and 16. The father tried to rescue them but he was unsuccessful. The news reported, the brothers were suddenly pulled in by the current.

I assume it were rip currents. I learn about it in another recent incident. So I hope there is awareness about rip currents.

Rip currents are sea waves rushing towards the beach and then away from it. It does not pull a swimmer underwater - but it pushes a swimmer away from the beach & farther out to sea. Drowning deaths happens when the swimmer cannot keep himself afloat & swim to shore. This is due to fear, panic, exhaustion, or lack of swimming skills. It's the leading hazard for beach goers. In the US, one person drowns for every 4 days due to rip currents. [NOAA]

So if your ever get caught in a rip current:

#1 Remain calm to save energy.
#2 Don’t fight the current.
#3 Escape the current by swimming out parallel to the beach. If you can't swim out, float or calmly tread water. When out of the current, swim towards shore | more

OK. So where did the muslims first immigrated to escape prosecutions in Mecca? To Abysinnia - a land under the christian King Negus. Of course, the Meccan Quraish pursued the muslims. & with precious gifts, they tried to persuade Negus to return the migrants.

But the King believed the muslims & allowed them to stay.
أقربهم مودة للذين آمنوا الذين قالوا إنا نصارى ... أعينهم تفيض من الدمع مما عرفوا من الحق [Q5:82-84]

King Negus believed after hearing a part of Surah Maryam, narrating the story of Prophets John and Jesus. He listened until he wept and his beard was moist with tears. He then said, "The message brought by Muhammad and that was brought by Jesus are from a single source." He believed what the muslims state regarding Jesus. [Syed Maududi]

اعوذب لله من الشيطان الرجيم
[قال إني عبد الله آتاني الكتاب وجعلني نبيا [30
[31] ‎وجعلني مباركا أين ما كنت وأوصاني بالصلاة والزكاة ما دمت حيا
[وبرا بوالدتي ولم يجعلني جبارا شقيا [32
[والسلام على يوم ولدت ويوم أموت ويوم أبعث حيا [33
(Jesus) said, "Indeed, I am the servant of Allah. He has given me the Scripture and made me a prophet. And He has made me blessed wherever I am and has enjoined upon me prayer and zakah as long as I remain alive. And (made me) dutiful to my mother, and He has not made me a wretched tyrant. And peace is on me the day I was born and the day I will die and the day I am raised alive." [Holy Quran 19:30-33]

When Negus passed away, Rasulullah ﷺ said "Beg pardon for your brother". Rasulullah drew them up in a row and offered prayer & recited four takbirs for him. [SM4.2078]

I hope I hv my sense of humour back. I did enjoyed people with a sense of humour. Like this one friend. Her lil baby played with her handphone. & baby almost send her photo to her husband's friend. LOL! "That guy would've thought I'm flirting him!" Ha ha ha... Awh that totally will be something. Of course it isn't like the photo is anything much. "Just a plain boring one." Hi hi hi...

Note to self. Remember to not let baby play with handphone. (◠v◠)

There's also this time when they're trying to write a comforting letter to someone who lost a family member. I dunno why but I find this debacle hillarious. The message: "Pls be comforted, we all hv our time & you will see him again, Puan Sri." like in the hereafter, something like that. ^[Q13:23-24] It's supposed to be nice. & then she goes: "and thus you too will die, Puan Sri" (◠@◠) Argh.. Don't say that...

I wish I can remember many more...

BREATH OF LIFE

Oh isn't nature vacations breath taking. ماشاء الله The shifting sand dunes, the spectacular Himalaya, the unknown deep ocean ... & the volcanoes attesting the hot stuffs kms away beneath your feet.

Even nature as simple as the 4 seasons can be amazing, to some one who never experienced it. Like when I was a kid in Japan's cold winter. It's fun blowing fog every time I breathe or talk! o(◠v◠)o So ... What more secrets the Earth has?

& imagine the nature exists, even before mankind. [timeline] ماشاء الله

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

والأرض مددناها وألقينا فيها رواسي وأنبتنا فيها من كل زوج بهيج
تبصرة وذكرى لكل عبد منيب And the earth - We spread it out and cast therein firmly set mountains and made grow therein (something) of every beautiful kind. Giving insight and a reminder for every servant who turns (to Allah). [Holy Quran 50:7-8]

ولا تمش في الأرض مرحا إنك لن تخرق الأرض ولن تبلغ الجبال طولا And do not walk upon the earth exultantly. Indeed, you will never tear the earth (apart), and you will never reach the mountains in height. [Holy Quran 17:37]
