The Trails of Prophet Abraham and the Israelite
| 1 | Prophet Abraham ﷺ [QA] left his homeland Ur and settled in Hebron. [Q21:71 | map] Blessed as the Father of the Prophets, فقد آتينا آل إبراهيم الكتاب والحكمة [Q4:54 | lineage] his sons: Prophet Isaac ﷺ [QA] from his wife Sarah fathered the Israelite |
| 2 | By Allah's SWT command, Prophet Abraham left his wife Hajar & baby son Prophet Ishmael in Mecca. But he still visited them. It was Prophet Abraham & Prophet Ishmael who built the Kaaba — it is the first House of worship for Allah SWT. إن أول بيت وضع للناس للذي ببكة [Q3:96-97] |
| 3 | Prophet Isaac inherited the legacy of Prophet Abraham. He fathered Prophet Jacob ﷺ. [QA] & Prophet Jacob (or known as Israel), fathered the 12 sons of Israel. But due to sibling envy, one of his sons, Prophet Joseph ﷺ [QA] was cast away. At a tender age, Prophet Joseph became a slave boy in Egypt, but he rose to high rank as a royal trustee. Then, a famine brought the brothers to seek aid in Egypt, & the family were reunited. Prophet Joseph welcomed his family into Egypt. |

But after generations passed, an evil Pharaoh ruled, he persecuted the Israelite. Allah SWT sent Prophet Moses ﷺ [QA] & Prophet Aaron ﷺ to invite the Pharaoh to the truth, as well as to deliver the Israelite. Finally, they exodus out of Egypt to the Sinai. The persecutions were a great trial, & they were blessed to receive the Covenant from Allah SWT at the Sinai [QA]. ولقد أخذ الله ميثاق بني إسرائيل [Q5:12], ولقد آتينا بني إسرائيل الكتاب والحكم والنبوة [Q45:16]

| 5 | The Israelite reached the Promised Land الأرض المقدسة التي كتب الله لكم [Q5:21]. * But some refused to enter it with Prophet Moses, so they were forbidden from it — they wandered in desert for 40 years. ושמה לא תעבר [Deuteronomy 34:4 | QA] فهزموهم بإذن الله وقتل داود جالوت وآتاه الله الملك والحكمة وعلمه مما يشاء ولولا دفع الله الناس بعضهم ببعض لفصدت الأرض ولكن الله ذو فضل على العالمين [Q2:251] Then, the Israelite were driven out from their homes, so they asked for a king to lead them in the face of war. Allah SWT chose Saul [QA] as the first king of Israelite — led by Saul, they defeated Goliath (Philistine). ויחזק דוד מן הפלשתי [1 Samuel 17:50] Then, Allah SWT blessed Prophet David ﷺ [QA] as king. When his son Prophet Solomon ﷺ [QA] inherited him, Allah SWT blessed his kingdom with so much magnificence, it is known as the kingdom like no other. ملكا لا ينبغي لأحد [Q38:35] Prophet Solomon built the First Temple of Jerusalem. לבבכם שלם [1 Kings 8 | Deuteronomy 11] ماشاء الله |
| 6 | ... את בית ישראל כאשר ינוע בכברה جئنا بكم لفيفا  The Land divided into Israel (10 tribes e.g Samaritans) & Judah (Jews). Then Israel fell to the Assyrians, while Judah fell to the Babylons. The Babylons destroyed the First Temple of Jerusalem and the Ark of Covenant was lost — they were exiled across the world. فإذا جاء وعد أولاهما بعثنا عليكم عبادا لنا أولي بأس شديد فجاسوا خلال الديار وكان وعدا مفعولا [Q17:5] This event is grieved upon on Tisha B'Av תשעה באב. |

Still, a group called Samaritans survived & remained in the region.
Then, from the East, came Cyrus the Great of Persia who allowed the Jews to return from exile & the Second Temple of Jerusalem was rebuilt. אנכי העירתהו בצדק וכל דרכיו אישר הוא יבנה עירי וגלותי ישלח [Isaiah 45:13] Then from the West, came Alexander the Great and Greek culture spread across the region. Some Jews became Hellenized, even the Old Testament was translated into Greek (Septuagint). REF
When the Romans ruled, this era saw Herod commissioning the Second Temple's grand expansion. This was the Temple Prophet Jesus ﷺ [QA] came to — along with Prophet Zachariah ﷺ [QA] and Prophet John ﷺ [QA], as well as his mother the Virgin Mary. [QA]
Some believed in Prophet Jesus, some didn't. So they divided again — into Jews & Christians. Then, the Romans destroyed the Second Temple & exiled them. Again, they grieved for the Temple's destruction. فإذا جاء وعد الآخرة ليسوءوا وجوهكم وليدخلوا المسجد كما دخلوه أول مرة وليتبروا ما علوا تتبيرا [Q17:4-7 | QA]
& till this day, they pray for the Third Temple.
I seek refuge in Allah SWT from errors
