I spent the recent few days obsessed with this. (◠v◠)

Simply ... I wondered how this carbon structure looks in reality. The first attempt was not what I wanted, it's a 3 electrons bonding; but it's a sphere huh. Anyway I wanted the all 4 electrons bonding.

More puzzling ... At last, tada!

الحمد لله after building the foundation structure, I continue to add on around it. As it adds around, it spreads out upwards - quite like a skull cap. Of course like a true nerd I tried it on my head, ha ha.

Then I wanted the structure to be a sphere. This will not be a sphere, it keeps spreading out. Even if the pieces are smaller, I think it still spreads out with slower growth. So to make it narrow in, it ends up with a mix of 3,4-atoms-bonding. So walla, a sphere! Then somehow a beautiful thing happened, the models came together & became ... the flower. ماشاء الله
