قال فأنا اللبنة وأنا خاتم النبيين Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Messenger ﷺ said, "My similitude in comparison with the other prophets before me, is that of a man who has built a house nicely and beautifully, except for a place of one brick in a corner. The people go about it and wonder at its beauty, but say: 'Would that this brick be put in its place!' So I am that brick, and I am the last of the Prophets." [Sahih Bukhari 4.56.735]

الذين آتيناهم الكتاب من قبله هم به يؤمنون [
Q28:52-53] Even in the time of Prophet Muhammad, there were Christians &
Jews who believed and supported him. Some of the Christians were:
- Bahira, the priest who saw signs of prophethood in him
- Waraqa Nawfal, who first counseled him [SB6.60.478]
- King Negus, who sheltered them in Abysinnia [SM4.2078]
- Heraclius, who said "this is faith when its delight enters the heart"
- Addas, who offered him grapes & kissed him after Taif's rejection
- His wife, Mariya al-Qibtiyyah, who bored him a son, Ibrahim
People of the Book can recognize him from their own Scriptures: "the Prophet who can
neither read nor write, whom they will find described in the Torah and the Gospel"
النبي الأمي الذي يجدونه مكتوبا عندهم في التوراة والإنجيل [
Q7:157] Jesus himself had described him: "a messenger to come after me, whose name is Ahmad"
برسول يأتي من بعدي اسمه أحمد [

His coming was
